Taking a mundane picture and creating a 3D effect gives picture a wonderful effect. Although the work to make the 3D picture can be a bit tedious but it is fun to do.
There are many approaches especially with photoshop. I did this with Paint.Net. I love Paint.Net it is so powerful and can basically do everything I need including drawing pictures for my games. ( I am not an artist but Paint.Net really helps to make things easier.
